Education has never been a one-way transmission; it is a two-way dialogue. At Speed Academy, we believe that the best education begins with understanding—understanding the child, understanding the parents, and understanding this era’s new definition of "growth."

Every month, the principal of Speater College invites a small group of families who think deeply about education and hold high hopes for their children to sit together, and talk about what truly matters:

• In our time, what are the most essential abilities children need?
• How can we help children find balance between academic pressure and personal development?
• How can home and school build a truly effective partnership?
• Why is the Speed Academy classroom designed the way it is?

This is not an admissions pitch. It is a sincere exchange of thoughts. You may come with confusion or with hope. We believe that education truly begins only when educators set aside the posture of "authority."

When: The second Saturday of every month, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Speater College is not only a school for children; it is also a growth community for parents.

We know that the impact of education is never determined by the 45 minutes in the classroom alone. The consistency and depth of collaboration between home and school often determine how far a child can go.

Therefore, we regularly host parent workshops, inviting practitioners and researchers in education to explore with parents the real challenges of daily parenting:

• Cultivating a Reading Habit: From "make me read" to "I want to read"—what can parents do?

• From "Homework Battles" to Self-Directed Learning: Family strategies to ignite a child’s internal motivation

Workshops are conducted in small-group interactive format, with no more than 15 participants per session. Parents are encouraged to share their experiences and dilemmas, gaining inspiration through exchange and forming consensus through reflection.

We believe that when parents are willing to grow, children’s growth finds firmer soil.

Entering a new school is an "adventure" for a child—a new environment, new teachers, new classmates. Everything is unknown.

At Speed Academy, we do not want a child’s first day to begin with nervousness and anxiety. Therefore, before the official school term starts, we have designed the "Speater College Launch Camp" for every new student.

This is not remedial class. It is a warm "rehearsal."

During the half-day orientation, children will:

• Explore the Campus: Led by teachers, they will discover classrooms, the library, the playground, the dining hall… and find their own "secret corner"
• Meet Their Peers: Through carefully designed ice-breaker games, they will get to know future classmates in laughter and build their first friendships
• Meet Their Teachers: A relaxed, informal meeting with their homeroom and subject teachers to dissolve unfamiliarity
• Learn the Routines: In ways children can understand, they will learn what a school day looks like—when classes start, when breaks happen, and who to turn to when they need help

Each new student will also receive a "Speed Academy Little Passport." After completing the campus exploration tasks, they can exchange it for a welcome gift from the school.

When: One week before the official term begins (specific date will be communicated to admitted families in advance)
Duration: Half day (approximately 3 hours)
Open to: All new students of Speed Academy
Parent Session: A "New Parent Briefing" will be held concurrently to help parents prepare for the start of school

We hope that when a child formally walks into Speed Academy, what they feel is not "I’m scared," but "I feel like I’ve already been here."
